Karin Cao is an intellectual property attorney based in New York.

She represents and counsels clients across various industries in connection with intellectual property matters, focusing on trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement as well as copyright registration. She has practiced before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Prior to joining Epstein Drangel, Karin was an attorney at a boutique intellectual property law firm. She received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. While in law school, she was an Alexander Judicial Fellow for the Honorable Barbara Moses of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and participated in the Indie Film Clinic (now Filmmakers Legal Clinic)
