Annmary Ittan

Annmary is a partner and member of the firm’s Trademark Group. Her practice focuses on various areas of intellectual property law including trademark prosecution, copyright prosecution, licensing, anti-counterfeiting, and enforcement. Annmary regularly counsels clients regarding the clearance, procurement, and enforcement of their intellectual property rights and manages numerous domestic and international IP portfolios. Annmary also has extensive experience with negotiating and drafting consent agreements, coexistence agreements, license agreements, asset purchase agreements, and IP assignments. She routinely conducts IP due diligence for her clients pursuant to asset purchases and mergers. Annmary also represents clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in opposition and cancellation proceedings. Annmary counsels clients in a diverse range of industries, including consumer products, fashion, toys, and entertainment.

Annmary is an adjunct professor at New York Law School where she serves as the co-director of the USPTO Trademark Clinic. She is also an active member of the International Trademark Association’s Brands & Innovation Committee and the co-chair of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Committee. Annmary also actively participates in the Westchester Women’s Bar Association’s Law Student Mentorship Program and regularly mentors law students interested in pursuing a career in intellectual property law.

During law school, Annmary served as Business Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution and President of the South Asian Law Students Association.

In her free time, Annmary enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and watching Bollywood movies.
