Dwana S. Dixon, Esq., Associate, focuses her practice on various aspects of intellectual property law. Dwana is experienced in working with global brands in a variety of industries to develop, manage and protect their intellectual property rights.
She received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she double majored in Communication Studies and African American Studies and received her M.A. in Corporate Communication from Baruch College of the City University of New York. She received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she served as Co-President of the Intellectual Property Law Association and was an award-winning National Trial Team member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
Dwana honed her legal skills through internships at Epstein Drangel LLP, the NFL, the Estee Lauder Companies, the Legal Aid Society and as a summer law clerk to the Honorable Sterling Johnson, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
She is a member of the Young Practitioners Committee of the International Trademark Association, an avid InStyle reader and puppy parent to her Yorkie, Chloe.
Dwana is admitted to practice in both New York and North Carolina, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
