Dwana Dixon, Associate, focuses her practice on various aspects of intellectual property law.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and African American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Arts in Corporate Communication from Baruch College of the City University of New York. She received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
During law school, Dwana served as Co-President of the Intellectual Property Law Association and was an award-winning National Trial Team member of the Moot Court Honor Society. She honed her legal skills through internships at Epstein Drangel LLP, the NFL, the Estee Lauder Companies, the Legal Aid Society and as a summer law clerk to the Honorable Sterling Johnson, Jr. in the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of New York.
She is admitted to practice in New York State, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Dwana is also a troop leader with Girl Scouts of Greater New York, an avid InStyle reader and puppy parent to her Yorkie, Chloe’.
